Sleek Pout Paints Review, OCC Lip tar dupe or high street copy flop?

I'd firstly like to start of by saying that I purchased all of these myself and am not affiliated with the company in any way.
I heard about the release of these baby's a little while ago and it got me super excited because they seem like such a dupe for the OCC lip tars that are so unobtainable in the UK, not to mention pretty pricey!. However they had always been something that I'd wanted for my kit so I jumped at the chance to get sleeks version as soon as the hit the high street!. With a 3 for 2 offer that I couldn't refuse I bought 9 of the 11 shades, coming to a total of just under £30, what a bargain!.
I couldn't wait to try them out and definitely wasn't disappointed!.

I will start of by saying that these are't the easiest of products to work with so if your the kind of girl who wants to just whip out the lippy as your rushing out the door, these certainly won't be for you. However if your a make-up artist or love getting creative with your make-up these are PERFECT.
Its worth noting that the pigmentation on these babies is incredible, you get a brilliant coverage and just a pinhead amount is enough for an application with spare!. Theres no doubt about it that these will last you ages!. Theres also an almost infinite amount of colours that you can create.
I have also experimented different ways of wearing these and figured that by mixing with a dab of Vaseline or any petroleum jelly, it sheers out the pigmentation ever so slightly, still making the colour vibrant yet much easier to apply and a smoother application, (it looked and felt very much like a mac lustre finish lipstick).I've also tried mixing colours with powder pigment and glitters it works beautifully!.
Theres almost no limit as to what these pots of wonderful can do. With carful application these also make great blushes, try a small dab blended really REALLY well on the apples of your cheek for a lovely glow.
The only downside I can say for these is that really you have to use a lip-blush, sleek recommend using your fingers but these colours do stain a little, especially the darker ones and for a precise application I would say stay away from using your fingers.
I would also love to see more colours added, not that the line isn't already broad enough, but I think a black wouldn't go a miss in the collection!. I would love to see sleek expand this range and can't wait to see what they bring out next, some of there products are total essentials in my kit, I love the primer palette and the contour kit, and now the pout paints will also become an essential for shoots!. I really think the brand are doing them selves proud. Well done sleek!.
As for OCC lip tars, I personally have had no experience using them so I cannot compare however at this present time I'm totally happy using the pout paints and they will be coming with me on all my jobs!.

Ive seen these many times, but I have resisted from buying them, but I think I may just buy a nice subtle colour first!
